(iii) 200 Cases of domestic violence will be reported and referred; (iv) 50 Survivors assisted with transport to court; (v) 30 Case workers trained on Case Management; (vi) 12 Awareness and training sessions; (vii) 1000 actors sensitized on legal support. The project will contribute to its outcomes by 124 church workers providing psychosocial support to adult refugees, and 150 childcare workers similarly targeting traumatized children. Beyond the Cycle is a transformative project focused on empowering girls and young single mothers to continue their education and other activities, also during menstruation by addressing menstruation-related issues e.g. by establishing safe and dignified menstrual hygiene spaces. This initiative will benefit 280 school girls and 200 village girls, aged 8-14, and 50 single young mothers in Ntende village, aged app. 13-25. It involves education, awareness raising and counseling to combat challenges of inadequate access to menstrual products, poor sanitation facilities, stigma, and harmful cultural beliefs. The project improves the detention conditions and protect young detainees’ rights, by providing them with psychological support, legal assistance by lawyer and promoting their right. To ensure a more holistic intervention, the project will also provide support to prison staff, at they deal with inmates on a daily basis and incidentally have a great influence on their well-being. To reach our objectives the main activities will consist in (i) organizing psychological – individual and group – therapy for detainees and guards, (ii) handling specific cases to lawyers for the follow in the court, and (iii) raise awareness of both the government authorities and CSOs, on the necessity to collaborate to initiate and advocacy on detainee’s conditions, and involve them in workshops aiming at analyzing the texts in vigor in order to identify their insufficiencies and define a clear advocacy objective. Expected outcomes are that AEBR establishes its own cohort of CCMP ToTs, with increased participation of women, who will introduce CCMP in at least five new churches and communities. Seminars, trainings and workshops on MHM will also be offered to the parents, teachers, religious leaders and government officials with emphasise on their role on MHM. We learned from the first UYME project that this intervention will help the mothers to a more healthy and safe upbringing of their children. Most of the mothers in the project were able to earn small money. In this new project phase, it will be important to bring food, more support, and a higher level of financial skills to keep and help the most vulnerable mothers in the project. Another strong and important part of UYME II is to keep up and raise the level of knowledge for the people in The Rhukwa Network (RRVCVN). A feasibility study carried out prior to this proposal showed that nomadic pastoralist women encounter many obstacles in using their new knowledge and skills due to values and norms, which prejudice against women; personal and cultural mindset barriers; lack of knowledge of rights and so forth. The project is there for a holistic intervention that will work with imparting knowledge, skills and mindset change at three levels: 1. Capacitating pastoralist women: Strengthening the skill and knowledge transfer by structuring training into two 6-week seminars over two years (outcome 1); 2. At community level: Changing attitudes/mindset in the communities enabling women to translate their learnings and skills into action. De unge kommer fra lavindkomst familier og er ikke under uddannelse, har ikke en færdiggjort uddannelse eller skolegang, eller er i job. De unge vil gennemføre et ud af tre erhvervsforberedende med en afsluttende akkrediteret eksamen. På grund af økonomisk recession på grund af Covid-19, så fokuseres der i denne ansøgning på opbyggelse af microfinans lånegrupper. (VSLA grupper). Projektet er også det første i det nye samarbejde mellem CMM og DKM, og vil opbygge erfaringer som kan bruges af både CMM og DKM. Ansøgningen følges op af en partnerskabsaktivitet så begge organisationer lærer hinanden bedre at kende. Since the majority of the students have very limited access to internet services, the sessions for each course will be taped and posted on a digital platform to allow the students to access during any time internet availability is secured. Undervisningens formål er at give de studerende viden og erfaring med alternativ levevis, som gør dem bedre i stand til at interagere med et moderne samfund. De metoder som undervises i, er dog ikke længere tidssvarende; og med stigende mærkbare klimaforandringer, som påvirker det traditionelle landbrug så vel som nomadernes traditionelle kvægdrift, er der brug for fornyelse og mere viden om bæredygtigt landbrug. Vi søger derfor om støtte til at to læringsturer til Care of Creation Tanzania i Dodoma, hvor de underviser i permakultur landbrug fra et bibelsk udgangspunkt, samt til implementering af nye metoder i undervisningen. Primær indsats er at skabe opmærksomhed og oplysning om børneægteskaber og – prostitution blandt forældre, børn, teenagere og finde og pege på bæredygtige løsninger på børn og teenageres udfordringer. In this application, we apply for VSLA training for the young a five-day VSLA seminar for the members of the network (RRVCVN). The VSLA training for the UYM is done by some of the members of the Rukwa Network (RRVCVN), the Trainers of Trainees (ToT). The RRVCVN is a network with 50 representatives working with the most vulnerable children, women, and youth in the region. The members are stakeholders from churches, social welfare offices in the region, orphanages, and other civil society organizations working with the target group, and the VSLA skills will be spread in the area. Activities include short-term day camps, trauma-informed psychosocial care, and faith-based resilience programs (Unbreakable) implemented through local churches. Volunteers and leaders will be trained in child protection, food distribution, and peacebuilding. A psychologist will supervise the psychosocial response and train local teams. Expected outcomes include improved mental health among children and enhanced food security in frontline areas. Seminars, training, and workshops will be conducted for parents, teachers, religious leaders, and government officials to emphasize their role in MHM. Men and boys will be targeted as ambassadors, and advocacy groups will be established for sustainability. Building on phase 1, which targeted 2000 students in 20 schools, phase 2 will expand to Simanjiro and target 2600 new students across 20 schools. Lebanon, Our Story is focused on the use of narratives to drive social cohesion (or adversely, social erosion) and civic engagement. The project invites representatives from across multiple demographics, including gender, religious background, and host/displaced communities including Syrians, Palestinians and Armenians, to recognize inequalities and build social cohesion rooted in interdependence. This project will prioritise community members aged between 15 and 25 – from Muslim, Christian, and Druze communities and including High School and university students as well as young adults – working alongside local faith and community leaders, NGOs, INGOs, and the media. By having the media play such a prominent role (through a social media campaign, documentary series, and sitcom/drama) it is this project’s intent that a strong, clear, and professionally maintained voice will be given to civil society, empowering community members to counteract divisive narratives and promote peaceful coexistence for all who call Lebanon home, regardless of religious affiliation, social status, or whether or not they reside in Lebanon by choice. The intervention focuses on key training, reflection and monitoring activities within a defined project period, while aligning with the broader CCMP ToT learning pathway. Church leaders, staff, local authorities and community representatives will be involved to support institutional anchoring. CCMP will be integrated into UEBB’s training curriculum and aligned with the church’s 2026–2030 strategy, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact. The project objectives are: a) 200 poor and marginalized farmers have improved farm productivity and profitability by project end, b) One producer association established and strengthened to champion improved agricultural support services to the farmers groups along the 3 identified value chains by project end, c) Agriculture stakeholders organized into a forum to champion the removal of policy constraints facing marginal farmers by project end. The project goal is for at least 540 out of 600 workshop participants to experience inner healing and be able to forgive trespassing and prevent conflicts. MAF South Sudan has conducted peace and reconciliation workshops since 2019 and have workshops facilitators trained in the concept Healing the Wounds of Ethnic Conflict used with succes in other contexts torn by ethnic conflict. More facilitators will be trained as part of this project to spread the teaching and non-violent way of solving conflicts to remote parts of the country. The project will work with a faith-based approach by working strategic with faith leaders from churches, mosques and traditional beliefs in the area. Faith units will be established that will demonstrate and mobilize community members in sustainable land management and setting up a pasture zone for young and lactating livestock. Inter-faith unites will advocate for improved governance of natural resources. The overall purpose is to foster a faith-driven approach to environmental restoration and foster learning on impact and methodology. A Tiny House is a module-based concept house. It is 18 m2, small, but fully functional with interior to fit 2 adults and 2 children. The house is provided with appliances for water connections and electricity, when this is suitable for the receiver. Otherwise, the house is adapted to fit living conditions without these and will for instance have a stove for wood instead. CRD will collaborate with local Baptist church community, heads of 4 villages, a social worker, a project manager and professional house-building team and the 15 targeted families. Main activities are procuring materials and assembling module-based Tiny Houses and delivering the Tiny Houses to each family. Drawing on Christian stewardship values, the project integrates sustainable agriculture (Farming God’s Way), health education, and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs). Local churches lead environmental action through the Green Church initiative, promoting climate adaptation and advocacy. A cooperative will strengthen farmers’ economic rights and access to markets. Rooted in diaconal values and community participation, the project fosters dignity, self-reliance, and long-term impact.
